The San José Evergreen Community College District (SJECCD), acting as Lead Agency under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), has released a Response to Comments Document for the proposed Evergreen Valley College Facilities Master Plan (EVC FMP). The Response to Comments Document includes comments received on the Draft EIR and the SJECCD’s responses to those comments. This document together with the Draft EIR constitute the Final EIR on this project.

Response to Comments Document for the San José City College Facilities Master Plan
The San José Evergreen Community College District (SJECCD), acting as Lead Agency under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), has released a Response to Comments Document for the proposed San José City College Facilities Master Plan (SJCC FMP). The Response to Comments Document includes comments received on the Draft EIR and the SJECCD’s responses to those comments. This document together with the Draft EIR constitute the Final EIR on this project.
Draft Environmental Impact Report for the Evergreen Valley College Facilities Master Plan
The San José Evergreen Community College District (SJECCD), acting as Lead Agency under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), has released a Draft Environmental Impact Report (Draft EIR) for the proposed Evergreen Valley College Facilities Master Plan (EVC FMP). The Draft EIR is available for review online on the SJECCD website. The Draft EIR will be available for a 45-day public review period that begins on August 13, 2021 and ends on September 27, 2021. During this public review period, the District is soliciting input on the adequacy and accuracy of the information presented in the Draft EIR.
Draft EIR Public Hearing
SJECCD will also hold a Draft EIR Public Hearing on September 16, 2021 beginning at 5:00 p.m. to receive public comments on the adequacy of the Draft EIR. During this public review period, the District is soliciting input on the adequacy and accuracy of the information presented in the Draft EIR.

The document, which includes an Initial Study, will be available for a 31-day public review period that begins on January 22, 2021 and ends on February 22, 2021. During this public review period, the District is soliciting input on the scope and content of the EIR, including information needs, project effects, and possible alternatives and mitigation measures.
