EVC: Demolition of the Roble Building

Project Description: The project entailed partial building demolition services with the central utility room remaining intact for the Roble Building at the Evergreen Valley College Campus. Demolition Services included the abatement/removal of asbestos containing materials, lead based paints and other hazardous building materials. This project was completed in Fall 2017.

EVC: Campus Site Improvements

Funded by Measure G-2010

Project Description:
This project included reconfiguring the existing campus pathway from Parking Lot 4 into the west hub of campus. Improvements were made to existing sidewalks, paving, ADA parking spaces and electric vehicle charging stations. Upgrades were also made to the existing irrigation systems, as well as new hardscape and landscaping including new trees and planting material. This project was completed in Fall 2017.

SJCC: Physical Education Building Project

Funded by Measure G-2004 & G-2010
Project Description: The PE Building Project is scheduled to be complete by Fall 2017. This project includes a new gymnasium, fitness center, team rooms and offices. Located adjacent to the track, football field and softball field, it will help consolidate the athletics facilities and will replace the auxiliary gym. The existing racquetball courts will be renovated into a Wellness Center for the department.

SJCC: Audio Visual Systems Improvements

Funded by Measure G-2010

Project Description: Phase 1 work to the Radio Station control boards and furniture, as well as the Stadium Audio System upgrade, were completed in Fall 2017. This work will reduce noise levels in the adjacent neighborhood. Phase 2 work will include Lecture Capture and Video Conference capabilities in the classrooms and conference rooms T415, SC204 and L307, and will begin in Summer 2018.
